Good news for the New Year and future of downtown Phoenix as The University of Arizona purchased 2.6 acres of land for future expansion projects.
The property, located across from the existing Phoenix Biomedical Campus, will be used as part of more than three hundred million in planned expansion projects according to a Phoenix Business Journal article.
The land was purchased from the Plaza Companies, a firm known for its development of SkySong, is located on the NE corner of Van Buren and Seventh Street. A sizeable building located on the property was included in the deal.
